Facebook Page for more interaction and updates about what we do, what we're up to and view some of the pictures of our patients.
Members can now have a place to discuss topics at our Members Only forum Page and there will be more content and educational materials coming very soon for our carers, members and readers. So it's very exciting and hopefully you enjoy the changes we have made so far and in the near future. Also you can check out our new Newsletter as well. So stay tuned!

April 2011
Wild Weekend Goes off with a Bang!
More than 150 people visited the Kimberley Vet Centre to see our huge display of snakes, lizards, turtles, birds and marsupials on Saturday 16th April. Bill & Corrin from Kimberley Reptiles, Mandy & Marijke from Kangaroo Haven & Luke Bentley from DEC all shared their knowledge, animals, and expertise to give the kids a wonderful experience in identifying and dealing with all our native wildlife.
Of course high on the agenda was the Cane Toad and Frog Identification and our educational Booklet was available to all families that wanted to know more about wildlife and our organisation. If you would like to buy a copy of our Educational Booklet for $5 you can always contact us or drop into the Vet Centre and pick one up.
A big thanks to the Shire of Wyndham & East Kimberley for giving us the grant for this event to go ahead and to everyone for dedicating a bit of their spare time to help out and make it so successful. Thank You!
Sarah Wins Award
We would all like to congratulate Sarah Brett for winning the CSBP Environmental Award at the Regional Achievement & Community Awards held at Perth Convention Centre last Friday. It is a welcome recognition for Sarah as she has dedicated her life and work for the last 18 years to wildlife in the East Kimberley and it nice to know that her work and commitment to our native fauna species is making a difference. Congratulations Sarah!
Wildlife Sanctuary
Our Wildlife Sanctuary Wallaby enclosure is finished and we have already had a few releases into it and we also have Sue's Garden up and a running with shade-cloth and maintenance going ahead and we thank Paul Mock and Graeme Pearce for assisting us with this.
